Oct 1, 2013 – (Mount Laurel, NJ) TelVue® Corporation (TEVE), the innovation leader in Television and Internet Broadcasting for cable operators and media companies, today announced that its new digital ad server, the TelVue® AdCaster™, has been recognized by the Broadband Technology Report’s prestigious 2013 Diamond Technology Reviews for what the judges describe as “setting a new benchmark for density in ad insertion.”
The Broadband Technology Report (BTR) Diamond Technology Reviews (“the Diamonds”) is a renowned industry program, now in its ninth year, that was developed to recognize some of the top products and solutions available to the cable industry.
The Diamond Review’s prestigious panel of judges recognized the TelVue AdCaster as an “excellent” product and “a solid new entrant” into an important category for broadcasters and cable operators. “It addresses smaller markets quite handily.”
“TelVue is pleased to have our AdCaster honored in this year’s Diamond Technology Reviews,” said Jesse Lerman, TelVue’s President and CEO. “The AdCaster is designed to be a scalable cost-effective solution for local and regional operations, and can help smaller operators find new revenue in the lucrative local ad space.”
The AdCaster integrates seamlessly with industry standard Traffic & Billing systems via the CCMS protocol, and Ad Splicers via SCTE-30. It includes an integrated, browser-based management interface that can be easily accessed remotely and displays real-time status across all channels. A single AdCaster can support up to 64 SD or HD Channels, and it can be easily expanded up by stacking units, or run as an instance on a virtual machine.
